Mr. Glassman pulls together the fasts on Global Warming and Hurricanes for a very good article. Jonah also pointed out assigning blame for bad weather is as accurate as assigning it the blame for good weather. From now on when he likes the weather he is going to exclaim "What a lovely day, thank goodness for fossil fuels!" I like it! In fact it is a rather nice day today, thanks global warming!|W|P|112551382227240655|W|P|Man Made Global Warming and the Weather|W|P|jacob.tomaw@gmail.com9/25/2005 04:38:00 PM|W|P|Blogger Luke|W|P|You can go ahead and thank me, because I'm apart of the problem, ... We bought these tickets far in advance because there some amazing talent was going to be there. Andy Richter (our favorite), Andy Dick, Mike Myers, Tim Meadows, Amy Poehler, and Rachel Dratch just to name a few. The show started and we could only half hear what was going on. The mikes were not working! This show was in the Chicago Theatre in front of 3,500 people. Not all of them so happy after the show struggled for an hour with crappy sound. The Sun Times and the Tribune both have pretty good reviews of the show. I think it was ok, but very disappointing.|W|P|112536449133405485|W|P|Live from Chicago, It was a Saturday Night Flop|W|P|jacob.tomaw@gmail.com8/24/2005 10:59:00 PM|W|P|Jacob|W|P|I just ordered some boxers from Bare Necessities. There was a box for a promotion code on the shopping cart page. I did a little googling and discovered this site. They are a pair of Bills Khakis. They are very well regarded and I can see why. They are very comfortable and nicely constructed. I bought them from Fischers Department Store online. Fischers was recommended by my style consultant Eric because they offer free hemming (Bill's come unfinished) and free shipping. Bill's are more expensive then your average pair of khakis ($97) but they are built to last. They use the original WWII design. I think mine are just a bit too long. I am going to wait to see how they are after a wash or two, but I think an inch shorter next time. In the TomaWiki you can check out more about the Jacob Tomaw style. WCCO was asking people what is art at a Twin Cities art fair. Dana and Kris were one of the people interviewed. Kris does most of the talking, as usual. :) Go here and then click the play button. I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean. I think that Kris is a genius art critic and an overall smart human being. I wish that more people listened to him. :)8/05/2005 09:34:00 PM|W|P|Jacob|W|P|Tonight I asked Joscelynn to marry me. And she said, "Yes!" I love her so much and she has made me so happy. One of those projects is Cap the Ike. This project is getting $4M for construction. Oak Park wants to build a park on top of the Ike! This is not like the Big Dig where the interstate was buried in Boston. The Ike is already below grade, with 20ft retaining walls on each side. Building these parks would make the Ike a tunnel though Oak Park and allow Oak Park to reconnect some of their roads and neighborhoods. This might become a big boondoggle. If it does not, I would like to see this done more. The Ike was built through populated parts of the city, separating neighbors. Projects like this will stitch cities back together.|W|P|112317749264840809|W|P|Cap the Ike!|W|P|jacob.tomaw@gmail.com8/04/2005 06:31:00 AM|W|P|Jacob|W|P|President Bush used recess appointed John Bolton as our ambassador to the United Nations.
